TLR Family:
As a general matter, Daniel and I do not anticipate promoting our work here every time it is published. But the subject matter of my upcoming law review article is right up the TLR readership’s alley.
The Baylor Law Review will soon publish my article “Shall Remain Inviolate.” It explores the history of the Texas Constitution’s two civil jury trial guarantees—how they came to be, and how Texas courts have interpreted them over time. I argue that the Texas Supreme Court has unduly narrowed these rights over the last half century.
The editors are now hard at work commenting and catching errors. But if you're eager to take a look, a draft is available on SSRN: https://lnkd.in/gegxRAEd
